A tad disappointed after hearing the GREAT ads on the radio

The pet stain did resurface after 6 months. The sealer on the travertine tile lasted a mere three months. I knew it would not last THREE years as the young employee stated it would, but I thought I'd get more than three months. If i decide to have them clean my carpets again, I will definitely address this issue. As stated, I am undecided as to whether or not to schedule another appointment. I have used Zerorez three times, and when I did question a cost, I was given a satisfactory compensation in the form of a partial credit towards the previous service. That I appreciate. I am basically satisfied with the carpet cleaning and the young technicians are extremely polite and on-time. That does make a difference but it is ALWAYS more expensive than what is quoted. Ruined carpet from application reaction

Always had our rug cleaned by Zeroez and always satisfied. The agent this time cleaned rug and it was great.

Suggested an additional application agent to remove dog stain oder . After application the carpet turned brownish orange . we have repeatably tried thru Angies list to arrive at an agreement to no avail Owner for ever would not accept any blame and would not return calls. Finally sent a letter and proposed we use a third party professional inspector from IIrc and we agreed who ever was right on wrong the wrong would pay for carpet inspection and owner of company would get their insurance co involved.

We did just that and the report was sent to zeroez saying it was their chemical that caused the problem . Now they wont respond again acknowledging the findings

False advertizement

Called out Zerorez after seeing commercial with Jill Becker and owners. One of the last questions Jill asked, will this cleaning get out pet stains. The answer was absolutely.

So when you go online to try and set up an appointment you can not schedule or have someone schedule an appointment with agreeing to some additional terms ( all of them ). Of course one of the terms was that if there are pet stains they will charge extra for " TRYING " to remove the stain.

So when the technician came to out house he walked in and told us that all Zerorez cleaning will do is refresh the carpet. That if carpets are to bad there is additional charges. He also said the very light pet stains we have would not come out even if he uses his special cleaning. He went as far as spraying a pet stain and tried to clean it and it did not work.

The only thing good that came out of the techs was the fact this guy was very HONEST about it up front and even went the extra mile to prove the cleaning does not work on pet stains. I can't say the same for the 2 guys in the commercial.

I work for a service company that everyone in the Atlanta Area knows well. If our company made empty promises we would bend over backwards to try to please the customer. We offer a satisfactory guarantee which means do what it takes to make the customer HAPPY. THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Good morning,

My name is Dennis Handt, Customer Relations Manager for Zerorez Carpet Care. The company that cleaned for you is called Zero Residue Cleaning.

We have been dealing with this company and their customers all year long. Folks think they are getting Zerorez and then these guys show up and do, well what they do, and it is usually not the best experience for the customer.

We have not offered a Groupon or Living Social discount in 2015. If you would like the true Zerorez experience please feel free to give us a call(651)-779-**** and we would be happy to help in any way.

Z does NOT sell deal of the day coupons in MN. You probably hired Residue Free Carpet Cleaning http://www.zeroresidueclean.com/

Easy to make that mistake.

Zerorez was a disaster.

They use water!!!! My carpets look like they were never cleaned.

I had them come back and they did them over. Still are black in the traffic areas. I am shocked. 90 percent of the stains are still there.

Now I am forced to hire another company. I seriously don't understand how a company expects to last if the product doesn't work. I have had my carpets cleaned 15 times in the past with small independent and never had an issue. I heard the ad on the radio and decided to give Zerorez a try.

What a complete joke.

I will never use this company again. I wish I could get my money back.

my exact same experience. They prey on baby boomers the last trusting generation. Im ready to take them to court.

I am sorry to hear you were disappointed as well. I think I know your situation, and as discussed above, we do stand behind our claims that your carpets will stay cleaner longer after using our services, and following the suggestions that we give you to help maintain your carpets.

This includes re-applying a fiber protector and regular vacuuming.

Unfortunately, if our suggestions are not followed, and regular (more than once a week) vacuuming does not occur, your carpets will get dirty, and will stay dirty. Our process does not put a magic shield on your carpet that makes dirt hover 3 inches above it. It DOES make it so that regular maintenance (vacuuming) is easier and more effective. With that regular maintenance, your carpets will stay cleaner, longer.

Getting the residues out of your carpet is just the first step, re-protecting and restoring the carpet to its original state is the second, and the third is vacuuming, and for most people, vacuuming more. All steps are necessary, and all will help your carpet stay looking new, longer.

Kenith Hex

I am sorry to hear you were disappointed in the service provided. It is true that we use water to clean, it is, after all the best way to get things cleaned.

Unfortunately, due to neglect, lack of maintenance, and damage done to carpet fibers, there is only so much that cleaning can do for carpet. If there are stains that will not come out with our normal cleaning process, we do have additional steps we can take to remove those stains, up to and including patching the area. Sometimes, that is what is necessary.

It is important to remember that having your carpet cleaned is like going to the dentist- if regular brushing is not taking place, and regular cleanings scheduled, and because of poor diet and hygiene, cavities can and will happen to the tooth.

It is not the dentist's fault, and the cleaning alone won't fix the cavity, only reveal it. Steps must be taken to fix the cavity- drilling, cleaning, filling; removing the tooth, root canals. Those are the steps to fix the cavity.

95% of carpet is plastic, it wears out much faster than teeth do, especially because it is rare to find a customer who will perform proper maintenance on their carpets.

Regular vacuuming (daily is best, 2-3 times a week in heavy traffic pattern is a must), regular cleaning AND protecting (every 12-18 months MINIMUM), proper walk off matting, and changing your traffic patterns will help to keep your carpet looking good longer.

With proper maintenance, we can help your carpets stay looking good longer, and we can get your carpets to as new-looking as they can get. But if damage is done, if the cavity has formed, unfortunately, we can't reverse that damage. No cleaner can, some just hide it better than others.

Our goal is to clean your carpet, and to help you have a clean, fresh home as long as possible. Our products and services can help with that. But, as is common sense, if your carpet has been damaged and stained, additional work must be done to restore your carpet. That is only fair; we will back up the work we did do, and are more than happy to help you as far as you will let us, but we won't force you into getting more work done than you want to pay for.

Again, I am sorry you were disappointed in your service. Please inform us if you do have a problem, we are more than happy to try to resolve the concern with you.

WOW!!! I had the same experience.

I had ZeroRez clean my carpets mid-December and within 3 weeks they are already getting dirty with gray showing up in traffic areas. Their advertised claim is that their process leaves zero residue so you carpets will stay clean longer.

Well it's a bunch of lies.

This is one of the worst carpet cleaning services I have ever experienced. EVER.

Their claims are all completely false.

Restaurant $50.00 Gift Card

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

After writing my review on your company, I now read even more reviews and realize there will not be the restaurant gift card advertised to customers. I did call regarding this today and was told in about 45 days and the girl answering the phone must have been doing something else more important than her job.

Most customers believe when they pay for the work, they will receive the gift promised but this is not the case. By the time 45 days go by, they are banking on everyone forgetting it and moving on.

Not only are my carpets still wet after what is now, 10 hrs but I will follow up on this card, for the principal of it. Sure wish I had read the reviews even though I have used Zerorez several times before today, just did not realize they no longer just use the 1 cup water they claim.

Zerorez cleaning in Arlington Tx

For several years I have used Zerorez. They used to do a good job.

Today, will be my last time to use them. The man arrived at 10:30 and it is now after 8:00pm and every room of carpet is still very wet and unable to even walk on it. He said he was using a newer chemical that would enable the carpet to dry in approximately 2-3 hrs rather than the usual 4-5 hrs. It has now been over 8 hours and still very wet.

We turned on the A/C as he suggested and also all the ceiling fans and even had to bring in room fans after 3 hours and still all wet. It is only my husband and I and hardly no traffic and certainly no pets or bad stains. The basic shoe dirt and small spots are exactly as they were before he came. I would have been better off to use a can of Resolve, spray and wipe, which is what we will be doing tomorrow if it is ever dry.

The man was very polite and very nice and I am sure did his best, but that was not what I needed. I just wanted the basic traffic dirt removed. Every spot is still present. No quality any longer therefore, no business from us any longer.

Will not allow them to come back out with even more water to re-do, can not risk having to remove carpet due to mildew.

The man himself, like I said, was very nice but the company is not what it used to be.

The reason for this review has been resolved and there is no longer a problem. I was pleased with how fast Zerorez responded to my complaint and immediately corrected it with more than one phone call to me regarding this matter.

I have used them many times in the past and due to how they handled this, I will continue to use Zerorez for many years to come.

Zerorez zero cleaning and tons of water in your house

it was my biggest mistake ever to go with Zerorez. They flooded my house with tens of gallons of water while all the stains are still there. It is one big rip-off. I would never hire them again to clean my carpet. Please, do yourself a favor and hire someone who can actually get your carpet clean. How could I be so *** and let them rip me of so bad? I just hope that whoever read my review, will not go with the *** How licensed those sons of rip-off in the first place. I read nothing but complaints about every single thing they do. There was not even one positive feedback about Zerorez. Literally NONE.

Zerorez Carpet Cleaning Review from Des Moines, Iowa

I had zerorez out, and granted I had a lot of pet stains, however the guy used 15 gal of water and solution, but after 30 days my carpet was still wet. I ended up pulling carpet out. It was wet clear thru the pad. When I called them they advised me to use a fan to help dry it. Never once did anybody from Zerorez come out to look the situation over. I ended up having to pull the carpet and pad out, and dying the floor, I had to replace the carpt and pad So in my thoughts I wasted the $135.00 that they charged me. Plus the cost of replacing my flooring

Why register a complaint. Zerorez never answers a complaint. They say all Des Moines complaint have been settled, mine hasnt they just dont respond. I have called them three times about the carpet. The technition used a total of 15 gal of liquid on my carpet.it was wet for about three weeks, everytime I called them all they said was put a fan on it, that wasnt drying it. The carpet started to get mildew on it. I finally had to take the carpet out and replace it

No Issues at all

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I had the best experience with Zerorez. I had three room, a hallway and stairs cleaned. Carpet looked great, got out majority of the stains I have been worried about, and the technician was an absolute joy to have in the house. I will not be going back to my old carpet cleaners. My neighbor recommended them and I am glad I decided to call. The fact that they clean 'green' is also a huge plus in my book, made the decision to call a little easier since I have two kids and a dog. Thank You Zerorez for the wonderful job.

A company is only as good as it's employees

Never again. When my carpets were cleaned in the past, the tech can usually get it done in about two hours. Yesterday, the Zerorez guy that came out, had the entire upstairs done and was halfway down the stairs in 20 minutes. Total time was 38 minutes. I know my carpets are not clean. He didn't bother to put baseboard corner protectors up so the hose was scuffing the pain on all my baseboards, so I know he was just in a hurry to get the job done. And all the while, he's trying to cross-sell other services, when he isn't even willing to clean my carpets the way they should be cleaned. I'm just really disappointed and feel like I've been scammed. I will not hire ZeroRez again, but will pay a little bit extra for the better service.

DO NOT USE they don't appreciate the customer. Wednesday afternoon, scheduled the appointment for zerorez to clean my carpets with a 1-4pm arrival.Saturday I get a phone call at 3:45pm from a dispatcher informing me that he doesn't have an available tech fight now. First of all how is it my fault as a customer who's business you have solicited that you cannot properly manage a staff to insure on time arrive. On top of this, I told the dispatcher that I was thoroughly displeased and I would be giving a pro review of your service and would not be recommending the service to anyone in the future. Upon hearing this the dispatched begin to explain that it is in fact the other customer fault for not being honest with them for what needed to be cleaned in their house. Since when do you blame the customer for your misgivings. After this he began to offer me a free room but I felt that as soon as I let them into my house it would be a quick job and not the attention I deserve as a customer.

Why is this the first comment? First and mainly, this person states that they never used the service.

If that is true, (and they say that it is), then this review is ludicrous and absolutely useless. This is not helpful to someone who wants real data that they can use to make an informed decision.

Thanks for nothing. :(

Carpet cleaning by Zerorez - Las Vegas, Nevada

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
A Zerorez employee physically came to the subject residence in Las Vegas NV and inspected the carpet in May. He asked about the age of two subject stains and we told him about two years plus. He gave us an estimate of $206 to clean the carpet and remove the stains. When the technician showed up on June 3rd to do the job, he said it was going to cost $584. I questioned this, told him I had a much lower estimate in the $200 range. He gave me a lot of excuses why the earlier estimate was no good and accused me of not being truthful about the age of the stains etc. He told me for that price he would get the stains out and guarantee it so I agreed. I am located out of state, and am doing this for my mother who is in a nursing home. When he completed the job, the technician was instructed to wait for my neighbor to inspect it. However, the technician completed the job earlier than estimated and left before my neighbor could inspect. When my neighbor saw the carpet after he left, the neighbor reported to me that it was not satisfactory. I called and requested a second cleaning to be done, and that was accomplished by another technician the next day. I think it is inexcusable to "low ball" an estimate and then demand nearly triple the price once the technician shows up. I believe I was taken advantage of because I was an out of state customer and they knew I needed to have this done so I could get the house on the market. I requested (in writing) that Zerorez honor the original estimate and refund $378. I sent this complaint to the company, and never heard anything back from Zerorez. Not one word. This was a horrible experience. If I had seen the negative reviews online by others, I would never have used this company. A word to the wise, STAY CLEAR of this company!
